In our "trailer post" we promised you that you would be informed and educated. So Eric and Zeff invite you to join them as they begin their audio tour of the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry.
No, not grabbing you? Well simply
put, the Library of Congress are beginning the process of storing
for all time, the most notable recorded sounds of US history -
speeches, music, and the like. So it shouldn't surprise you then
that The Atlantic Voice Podcast have a few issues with what's in
there, and some suggestions from what isn't.
In Part One of what the guys are
claiming is a "special edition," Eric and Zeff explain what the
National Recording Registry is (or should be) and discuss some
speeches and spoken word materials that are included (or should
be).
