Zeff was back in London on his summer holidays, and dropped by the studios of ZoneOneRadio, the community radio station for Central London. There he met Matthew Layton, one of the station's on-air personalities. Matthew hosts London GP, a show about cars and car racing, as well as being the station's Managing Director and part of the team that has made ZoneOne an on-line force to be reckoned with in the British capital. And with the station looking to hit the digital airwaves in 2014, it's exciting times for grassroots radio in the city of over 10 million people.
Matthew was kind enough to let Zeff into the studio, to spin in a swivel chair and push a few buttons, as well as doing his utmost to persuade the latter to get involved in a new show for the station.
Needless to say, Eric is wondering what all the fuss is about....!
